For anyone not in the know, Goosey Goggles is aYouTube channel specialising in reviewing VR gaming titles particularly on the Meta VR headsets. The channel has been soaring in popularity over the last couple of years and the creator got in touch about rebranding the channel. It wasn’t about reinventing the channel, it was about giving it a visual identity that could finally keep up with the content. The personality was already there: curious, slightly chaotic, and unapologetically itself. What it needed was a clearer way to announce its presence when flying past in a crowded YouTube feed.
We don't want to change the goose, just give it a little more...honk!

The new logo was designed to be bold, flexible, and instantly recognisable, whether it’s sitting in a thumbnail, a channel banner, or a title card. It needed to work fast and read clearly at small sizes, while still carrying some personality.

Something started to emerge, a feather friendly face formed. Something to hang the entire look upon. This avatar or what I like to call the Feathercon (like Favicon, geddit) was the cornerstone of the brand.
Alongside the logo, a new title sequence was created to set the tone from the first few seconds. Short, punchy, and rhythmically tight, it gives each video a sense of confidence and consistency without overstaying its welcome. Supporting graphic elements and motion details were added to tie everything together, creating a visual system that feels cohesive rather than decorative.

Tone of voice was also an important consideration. "Games Worth A Gander" felt fitting as a banner slogan for any potential streamer looking for the newest VR titles.
The result is a brand that finally matches the energy of the content it represents. Goosey Goggles now feels more confident, more recognisable, and better equipped to really take off. The visuals support the channel instead of competing with it, giving everything a clearer sense of identity and intent.
This might just be the beginning of the migration for Goosey Goggles as it turns out; Sometimes you don’t need to change the bird — you just need to help it fly in formation.
